Frequently asked fertility questions.

What’s the very first step I should take if I want to improve my fertility?

The first step is getting a clear picture of what’s really going on inside your body, things like hormone levels, menstrual cycle patterns, lifestyle habits, and any known challenges. From there, booking a consultation with a fertility coach (hi, that’s me!) gives you expert eyes on your fertility situation and a personalized strategy to help you get pregnant faster, whether you’re just starting out or have been at this for a while.

How do I know if I need fertility coaching or should see a fertility doctor first?

You don’t have to choose one or the other, fertility coaching and fertility medical care work best together. As your fertility coach, I help you understand your body, create a personalized plan, and guide you through lifestyle, nutrition, and hormone support. I also help you find the right fertility doctor for your unique situation and advocate for you when it comes to testing, referrals, or getting answers you may not be getting elsewhere. You don’t have to navigate this alone, I’m in your corner from the start.

Can fertility nutrition and lifestyle changes really make a difference?

Yes, a huge one. Nutrition and lifestyle aren’t just “nice to haves” they’re often the missing link. Your eggs (and your partner’s sperm!) are living cells that need specific nutrients to mature properly, repair damage, and function at their best. The foods you eat, how you move your body, how you sleep, and how you handle stress all directly impact hormone balance, egg quality, sperm quality, and even embryo development.

This isn’t fluff, this is biology.
Poor nutrition, unmanaged stress, inflammation, and exposure to environmental toxins can all interfere with ovulation, implantation, and fertilization. On the flip side, when we support your body with the right nutrients, stabilize blood sugar, improve gut health, and lower inflammation, we create an internal environment where conception becomes far more likely.

This work isn’t just about “being healthy.” It’s about being fertile. And yes, what you do outside the clinic absolutely influences what happens inside it. Whether you’re trying naturally or going through IVF, nutrition and lifestyle are the foundation we build everything else on.

How long does it usually take to see results from holistic fertility coaching?

Fertility isn’t instant-gratification, it’s cellular transformation. It takes about 90 days for an egg to mature before it’s released during ovulation, and about the same amount of time for sperm to fully develop. That’s why The Fertility Flow program is 4 months long. I’ve built in that extra time to get you set up, supported, and in a flow so you can fully optimize your egg (and sperm!) health before it even counts.

Many clients start feeling better within the first few weeks, more energy, better digestion, improved cycles, weight loss, but the real shifts in fertility potential usually show up between months 3 to 6. That’s where we see healthy pregnancies happening, especially when the foundation is solid.

That said, some clients do get pregnant earlier. It’s not about racing the clock, it’s about doing the right things consistently and giving your body the time it needs to do what it’s designed to do. We’re in it for the long game and the best outcome.
