Korean Inspired Turkey Lettuce Cups
This Korean inspired turkey lettuce wrap recipe is a fresh, flavour packed meal that delivers plenty of nutrients to support your fertility. Lean ground turkey provides high quality protein, which is essential for hormone production, egg development, and healthy ovulation. It's also naturally rich in zinc and selenium, two minerals that play an important role in both egg and sperm health, as well as supporting a healthy immune system.
The colourful vegetables bring even more fertility friendly benefits. Carrots are an excellent source of beta carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A to support healthy reproductive function, while garlic and ginger contain powerful plant compounds that help reduce inflammation and support circulation. Crisp lettuce adds hydration and fibre, helping to support gut health and healthy estrogen metabolism, and green onions provide antioxidants along with vitamin C to help protect cells from oxidative stress.
Finished with a savoury Korean inspired sauce, these lettuce cups are a satisfying, lighter meal that's packed with protein, fibre, and flavour. It's an easy way to enjoy a takeout inspired favourite while giving your body nutrients that support hormone health and create an environment that helps prepare for pregnancy.
